When It’s Time for Detox in California

More than 19 million American adults aged 12 and older struggled with a substance use disorder in 2017. In fact, nearly 74% of those Americans battled an alcohol disorder and 38% were addicted to illicit drugs. That same year, one out of eight adults simultaneously struggled with alcohol and drug abuse. In California alone, 8.5% of the state’s overall population is struggling with addiction, whether that’s alcohol addiction or drug addiction.
