You will be cared for in a small six-bed facility in the heart of Bel-Aire, where our clients receive state-of-the-art detox services designed for medical safety, comfort, and nourishment. Levels of Care at Novo Detox
We offer several levels of care, beginning with medical detox, which rids the body of toxins and prepares it for rehab. Detox can be painful and even dangerous, so wherever you choose to go through detox, you should be at a facility supervised by trained staff with access to medical care.
Detox
Before you begin this phase, you will undergo an assessment to create a metabolic profile. This assessment reveals how quickly you metabolize medications so we can determine which ones will be the most effective in the treatment and beyond. While in detox, you will meet with your primary therapist at least once daily.
Rehab
After detox, you will move on to residential care for the work of rehab. Treatment plans that are custom-designed for each client by experienced counselors include the Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), telehealth/virtual care, and individual therapy sessions. The primary therapist contacts your family every week, with your permission.
During residential care for addiction, you will meet at least twice weekly with your primary therapist, a well-trained and experienced professional. Novo Detox treatment staff have a minimum master’s degree in social work. They are also trained in marriage and family therapy, counseling, counseling psychology, and psychology or have a related licensable clinical degree required from an accredited college or university. They are licensed or hold registered intern status in clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, or psychology in the State of California. After residential treatment, you will most likely move on to continue rehab on an outpatient basis.
